From 2013 to 2015, McRae lent her voice to the animated children’s television series “Lalaloopsy.” In 2013, she garnered international attention for winning an award at the Dance Awards in New York City. Following that, McRae was hired as a brand ambassador for dance apparel firm Capezio. She won two medals at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2015 and was given a two-week scholarship to the Berlin State Ballet. Another Dance Award followed.

In 2016, after finishing in second place on the 13th season of the reality television competition show “So You Think You Can Dance,” MacRae had her breakthrough.
