Penn Dayton Badgley is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his roles in the television series “Gossip Girl” as Dan Humphrey and recently for his role as “Joe Goldberg” in the Netflix series “You.” He also had a recurring role in the final season of “Mad Men” as Danny Siegel. 

In 2006, Penn Badgley landed his breakthrough role as Dan Humphrey on The CW’s teen drama series Gossip Girl, which ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012. Badgley reprised his role as Humphrey in the 2013 spin-off film The Carrie Diaries. He has also appeared in the films Margin Call (2011), Cymbeline (2014), and The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015).
