On October 10, 2017, Félix made his under-21 debut for Portugal during the qualification campaign for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championships against Bosnia and Herzegovina; he came on as a substitute for Xadas in the 56th minute.

On March 15, manager Fernando Santos called Félix to the senior squad for the first time ahead of Portugal’s opening UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying matches. However, on March 25, while training with the national team, Félix sprained his foot and could not play against Serbia.
Félix debuted for the senior team on June 5 against Switzerland in the semi-finals, coming off in the 71st minute of a 3–1 win. Early Career
Félix was born in Viseu and began playing football with Os Pestinhas in 2007 before joining FC Porto’s youth ranks when he was eight. 2019–20: Debut Season
On July 3, 2019, Félix made his long-awaited move to Atlético Madrid.
